SIPHOKAZI’S GNOCCHI

SIPHOKAZI’S GNOCCHI

  • 3 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients.
Transfer on to a lightly floured surface.
Cut into balls and to to form a sausage.
Cut each sausage into small bite size pieces.
In salted boiling water drop pieces of gnocchi and as soon as they float they are ready.
Remove with a slotted spoon.
Rinse under cold running water to stop the cooking process.
Serve with lamb Ragu or osso buco or any sauce you prefer.
Sprinkle with grated cheese. (optional)
