SPINACH AND BUTTERNUT QUICHE
Quiche Spinasie en Butternut vir aandete kort net glasie rooiwyn… In English then, it is a German recipe:
- Dough:
- 250 g cake flour
- 1 egg
- 125 soft butter
Knee everything together. Place dough ball in a 26 cm quiche pan and press the dough in the form to form the crust.
- 1 kg of tomatoes, or any filling you want to put inside
- 500 g spinach
- 500 g butternut
- salt and oreganum/basil, to taste
- Mix together:
- 6 eggs
- 250 ml fresh cream
- 100 g Emmentaler/Cheddar cheese
Clean the veggies and fry on high until firm not soft, with the salt and oreganum/basil depends on which filling. Mix the filling and liquid mixture together and pour in the form, lined with dough.
Bake at 190°C for 1 hour approximately.
