SABRINA’S NUT AND ORANGE BISCUITS

  • 120 g cake flour
  • 30 g walnuts
  • 50 g sugar
  • 40 g soft butter
  • 10 ml oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • zest of 1 orange
  • Extra:
  • sugar
  • icing sugar

Mix zest and nuts together, then add butter, sugar, egg, oil, flour and baking powder.
Mix into a dough.  Form small dough balls.
On the side put a small bowl with plain sugar and one with icing sugar.
Take the dough balls, first roll into sugar then into icing sugar.
Place them onto a prepared baking tray.
Bake at 160 ºC for 15 – 20 mins.
The sugars will form a lovely crust on the biscuit.
