TUISGEMAAKTE BROODROLLETJIES
Heerlike tuisgemaakte buns met 5 bestanddele:
- 2 koppies broodmeel of koekmeel
- ± 2 koppies louwarm water
- 1 pakkie kitsgits (10 g)
- sout na smaak
- bietjie olyfolie, ongeveer 2 eetlepel
Knie alles saam en laat rys tot dubbel die grootte.
Rol uit op meelbestrooide oppervlak, deel deeg in 6 of 12.
Maak bolletjies, pak op voorbereide bakplaat en laat weer rys tot verdubbel.
Bak vir 40 min teen 180 ºC.
Smeer met bietjie gesmelte botter en sit terug onder die “grill” vir 5 minute indien jy dit donkerder wil hê.
Nota:
Die deeg moet eerder meer slap as styf wees.
Ek het 6 groot buns gebak vir hamburgers, kan kleiner bolletjies maak soos verkies.

HOMEMADE BUNS
- 2 cups bread flour (you can use cake flour as well)
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 2 cups lukewarm water
- salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Add all ingredients together, knead until dough is silky and elastic, add more flour or water as required.
Left to rise double in size.
On a flat clean surface, powder with flour and pat down dough to form a long dough, roll gently with your hands.
Cut in 6 equal shapes and form hamburger buns or 12 for smaller buns as required.
Place the buns in a greased pan with enough space in-between each bun.
Leave it to prove for a second time until it has doubled in size once more. Bake 40 min at 180 ºC.
You can finish off with melted butter for a few seconds under the grill just to get a more deep brown color.














It came out a sloppy mess! Even with extra flour. Very disgusted 🙁
Hi Lynn, sorry to read. This recipe was tested many times. All I can suggest is to add 1½ cup of water and then anly add the rest if necessary.
Heerlikste broodrolletjies. My man se ek mag nie meer broodrolletjies koop nie. Resep is maklik. Eerste keer was dit bietjie slap en nadat ek bietjie meel bygevoeg het was dit perfek.
