CHILLI BITES
- 2 cups chana flour
- 1 cup cake flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 teaspoons vegetable masala or curry powder
- salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 bunch coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1 bunch spring onion, finely chopped
- oil for frying
Mix all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl, add about one and a half cups water to make a soft dough, then add the coriander and spring onion. Mix well. Drop teaspoons of dough in hot oil and fry till golden.
Note:
You can add any vegetables to the batter if you prefer. Finely sliced potato, eggplant or chopped spinach work well.
Chilli’s is optional to taste.
