VINNIGE CHAKALAKA VARK STEAKS

“My gunsteling blikkie vir ‘n vinnige aandete is chakalaka…selfs in NZ!”

  • olyfolie, vir vlak braai
  • 6 – 8 vark scotch steaks/tjops
  • 2 teelepels gerookte paprika
  • sout en peper, na smaak
  • 75 – 100 ml kookwater
  • ½ blikkie chakalaka

Geur die steaks met die paprika, sout en peper en braai weerskante in die olyfolie tot goudbruin.
Sit die kookwater in ‘n oondpan, smeer ongeveer ‘n eetlepel chakalaka oor elke steak, en pak in die pan by die water.
Bak in oond by 190 ᵅC vir 18 – 20 minute.
