THE EASIEST BREAD
ATTENTION ALL BREAD LOVERS- THIS IS EASIEST BREAD YOU CAN MAKE AND IT’S DELICIOUS
Tasting Notes
This is crusty on the outside, light and chewy on the inside.
Serve with some great unsalted butter and you will swoon.
- 3 cups of bread flour
- ¾ tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of yeast
- 1¾ cup of water
Place the flour, yeast and salt in a large bowl. Mix well.
Now slowly pour the water into the bowl.
Mix well until you have a nice soft, wet mixture, in the form of a ball.
Take the ball and put on to a clean surface, dusting the dough with some flour and then roll the dough in the flour.
Once done try lifting the dough. If it comes off easily, the dough is ready for the next step.
If not dust more flour on to the dough.
Once done place the dough back into the bowl you mixed it in.
Put a towel over the bowl and place it under some lights so the dough can rise.
If you don’t have lights readily available place the bowl in a warm place.
Let it rest for anywhere from three to four hours. This allows the dough to rise.
Once done, oil an oven-proof pot all over.
Now take the dough and place in the pot.
Cover the pot and place in the refrigerator overnight.
In the morning place the pot in a pre-heated oven of 425 °C.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Once done take off the lid and bake for another 30 minutes.
Take out of the oven.
Let the bread cool.
Once cool release the bread from the pot.
Presto, you are ready to enjoy your bread.
Easy and delish.
