SPICY POTATO WEDGES

Who needs take away burgers when you can make your own… beef patty with blue cheese, red onion marmalade, avocado, mozzarella and ranch sauce. Very, very yummy lunch. And then serve with the focus of this recipe: spicy potato wedges.

  • 3 medium sifra (floury) potatoes, skin washed and dried, cut into wedges
  • 45 ml Robertsons masterblends aromatic roast potato spice
  • 50 ml oil
  • plastic bag to mix and coat the wedges in

Put the spices and oil in the plastic bag and mix. Add the potato wedges to the bag and massage until all the potatoes are coated.
Pour the potatoes into an ovenproof dish and squeeze whatever oil mixture is left in the bag over the potatoes.
Put in preheated oven at 180 °C and bake until done and golden on the edges.

Note:
In my solardom oven it takes about 20 – 30 minutes depending on the weight of the potatoes.
In normal ovens it would probably take about 40 – 50 minutes, depending on the size of the potato wedges.
