A Bread Recipe That I Make, During Lock-down… No Yeast, No Eggs.

  • 67 g sugar
  • 375 g cake flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • 375 ml sodawater
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of butter (to brush on top of loaf while baking)

Preheat your oven 180ºC.
Sieve flour.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Slowly pour the sodawater into the mixture. It will bubble.
Transfer into grease loaf pan let sit for 30 minutes.
(Mixture is sticky)
Bake at 180ºC for 25 minutes, brush butter over bread while keeping it in the oven.
Bake another 20 minutes and until the top is brown.
