MILK AND CREMORA BREAD
- Mix the following dry ingredients together in a large dish and set aside:
- 8 cups of cake flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 sachet instant yeast
- 2 tablespoons fennel seeds (can be left out)
- 2 tablespoons Cremora
- Make a mix with the following wet ingredients. Beat well:
- 1 ½ cups of warm water
- 1 ½ cups of warm milk
- ¼ cup melted butter or margarine
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 eggs
Mix the dry and wet ingredients together and make into a soft dough.
Leave covered in a warm place for 2 to 3 hours .
Knead again and break off small balls and place next to each other on an oven dish.
Brush with beaten egg and bake for 20 to 25 min or until nicely browned at 180°C.
Rub butter on top as soon as its baked.
