LOW GI BRAN MUFFINS

Cook: 15 - 20 minutes | Servings: +- 12 muffins

LOW GI BRAN MUFFINS

  • 500 g Golden Cloud bran muffin mix
  • 125 ml 100% appel juice
  • 1 ½ cup fat free milk
  • 1 egg

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Mix the muffin mix, juice, milk and egg together.
Spoon the batter in a prepared muffin pan and bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

  • You can add any one of the following:
  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1 cup grated apple
  • mashed banana
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • crushed almonds

Note:
For this one, I added the carrot and unsweetened cocoa powder.
