LOW GI BRAN MUFFINS
- 500 g Golden Cloud bran muffin mix
- 125 ml 100% appel juice
- 1 ½ cup fat free milk
- 1 egg
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Mix the muffin mix, juice, milk and egg together.
Spoon the batter in a prepared muffin pan and bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- You can add any one of the following:
- 1 cup grated carrot
- 1 cup grated apple
- mashed banana
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- crushed almonds
Note:
For this one, I added the carrot and unsweetened cocoa powder.
