LOVELY SOFT BUNS

All the best ladies and gentlemen. If u come right with this recipe you will kiss good bye to buying bread. Makes 24 buns

  • 6 cups of bread flour (or cake flour)
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of yeast
  • 4 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 7 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Mix 2 cups of flour with yeast and put aside.
In a separate bowl, heat milk, butter, sugar and salt to lukewarm in the microwave (1 minute 30 seconds )
Add eggs.
Add all at once to the flour mixture and beat until smooth.
Mix in the remaining flour to make soft dough.
Mix well until dough is soft and slightly stick then put the dough onto a floured surface.
Cover with a greased large bowl and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Shape dough into the size that you approximately 22 to 24 buns and put in a greased baking pan. Leave it to rise until double in size (approximately 45 – 60 minutes)
Put in the oven and bake at 180°C until they are golden brown. (15 – 20 minutes)

For the glaze:
Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water until the sugar dissolves.

After taking out the buns from the oven just brush them with the glaze to give them a shiny and appetising look.
Enjoy the softness.
