LIPLICKING YUMMY CHOCONUTS
- 2¼ cup cake flour
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup margarine, softened
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup choc chips
- ½ cup finely chopped nuts (I use sprinkle nuts)
Note:
Leave nuts out and replace with an extra ½ cup flour if you don’t want the nuts.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Cream margarine, brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla extract in a large bowl until creamy. Add eggs to butter mix one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually mix in flour mixture.
Fold in choc-chips and nuts.
(I prefer to add the chips and nuts before mixing it with the butter)
Drop spoonsful of batter onto greased baking sheets and bake for 9-11 minutes at 180°C until golden brown.
Leaving out the nuts will result in a less firm dough. They also spread quite a bit.
