LEMON BUTTER FISH

Make a cup of rice with some yellow colouring and set aside.
Fry some chips and set aside. You can use either ready made or hand cut.

For the fish:
I used Hake, but kingklip or sole also works well.
Marinate in vinegar, lemon juice and salt and set aside.

  • Mix together:
  • ½ cup of flour
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • mixed herbs
  • teaspoon of salt

Dip the fish in a beaten egg and then dip in flour mixture.
Shallow fry fish and leave to drain on a paper towel, meanwhile make a sauce.

  • Quick boil together: 
  • ½ cup of mayonnaise
  • 125 g butter
  • ½ cup chilli sauce
  • ¼ cup of lemon juice

Arrange your fish on top of the rice and chips and pour sauce over.
