JUNGLE OATS, HONEY AND WEETBIX BREAD
- 2 cups cake flour
- 5 ml bicarbonate of soda
- 5 ml salt
- 1 cup Jungle oats
- 2 Weet-bix, crumbled
- 1 packet yeast
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup luke warm water
Sift together flour, bicarb and salt, mix in the oats and Weet-bix and mix well.
In a separate bowl, mix the yeast, sugar, honey and water, wait till mixture bubbles little.
Add to dry ingredients, if to dry add more water.
Mix very well, and move the dough to a prepared small bread tin.
Let rise 1 hour or till double the size in a warm place.
Preheat oven 180 ºC.
Bake for 20 – 40 min till brown and baked through.
