  • Doughnuts (mix together to form a dough):
  • 3 cups plain yogurt
  • 4 cups self-raising flour
  • Glaze:
  • 30 ml whole milk
  • 30 ml cacao
  • 5 ml vanilla essence or extract
  • 250 ml (150 g or 1 cup) fine pure icing sugar

Bake the doughnuts in a mini doughnut machine, or fry it in hot oil (at a constant 180 ºC) until golden brown and drain off the excess oil by placing the doughnuts on kitchen paper.
Make sure that the doughnuts have cooled down completely before glazing them.

For the glaze: In a medium bowl, whisk together the ingredients until smooth. Use immediately. Dunk a doughnut into the mix, let drip off and put on a baking plate to set. Repeat with the rest of the doughnuts.
