GEEN BAK ROTSKOEKIES
Hierdie koekies word nie gebak nie. Werk vinnig wanneer jy die hopies uitskep, want dit set nogals gou.
- 500 ml suiker
- 125 ml melk
- 125 ml kakao
- 125 ml botter
- 125 ml grondboontjiebotter
- 5 ml vanilla geursel
- 3 – 5 koppies hawermout of meusli of ‘n mengsel van die twee
Plaas die suiker, melk, kakao en botter in ‘n kastrol en bring tot kookpunt terwyl gedurig geroer word.
Verlaag die hitte en prut dan sowat 3 – 5 minute lank.
Verwyder van hitte en roer die grondboontjiebotter en vanilla geursel by.
Voeg net genoeg hawermoutmengsel by totdat die mengsel stewig is.
Skep hopies met twee teelepels op velle waspapier en laat staan tot stewig.
Nota:
Ek het net 3 koppies oats gebruik.
Rock Cookies
These cookies are not baked. Work quickly when you scoop into pans. This set quite quickly.
- 500 ml sugar
- 125 ml milk
- 125 ml cocoa
- 125 ml butter
- 125 ml peanut butter
- 5 ml vanilla essence
- 3 – 5 cups oatmeal or meusli or a mixture of the two
Place the sugar, milk, cocoa and butter in a saucepan and bring to boil while
constantly stirring.
Lower the heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir the peanut butter and vanilla essence into the mixture.
Just add enough oatmeal so that the mixture is firm.
Take two teaspoons full and place onto sheets of baking paper and leave it to set.
Note:
I used only 3 cups of oatmeal.
