FRENCH FLAN

French flan made by hubby. Picking up the kilos here in France.

  • 1 ½ litre milk
  • 200 g sugar boil with milk
  • 100 g Maizena
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 300 ml cream
  • 1 roll puff pastry

Boil milk and sugar.
Mix the Maizena, egg yolks and cream together and add to warm milk mixture.
On low heat cook until nice and creamy.
Used bought puff pastry and line a deep baking tin.
Pour mixture on top of puff pastry.
Bake 45 min 180 ºC with the fan on.
