CURRY CABBAGE AND PAP

CURRY CABBAGE AND PAP

  • ½ a cabbage (only cos it’s 2 of us eating)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder of choice, I used chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 or 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 potatoes chopped small
Heat oil in a pan or pot.

Chop onions and fry till translucent, add all your spice and give that a good few minutes to fry off.
While you doing that chop your cabbage and add it to the spice.
Add chopped potatoes and fry till nice and golden adding a little water at a time.
When it looks like the cabbage is going soft add another bit of water and cover and cook till potatoes are soft.
Add salt as desired.
You can also add chilli if you want but I didn’t.

For the PAP:
I guess I don’t need to give you a recipe as this was just out of my head, been in NZ 20 yrs I still love PAP.
