CREAMY CHICKEN AND SPINACH BAKE
- 4 chicken breasts “flecked” to make a pocket
- 250 ml cream
- 100 ml water
- 1 packet white onion soup powder
- bacon bits (as much as your heart desires)
- 2 cups uncooked spinach
- cheese (as much as your heart desires)
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Spice chicken with chicken spice or salt and pepper.
Fry bacon bits and spinach until bacon done, mix in the mayonnaise.
Stuff the pocket in the chicken breasts with the spinach- and baconmix and place on oven proof pan.
Mix cream, milk and soup powder and pour over the chicken.
Bake in 180°C oven for approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on thickness of chicken.
Switch off oven.
Remove from oven and grate cheese over chicken. Put back into warm oven until cheese is melted.
Serve with veggies or baked potato.
