Place dry ingredients in a mixing bowel.
Boil milk water and butter. Cool down and add beaten egg.
Add liquid to dry ingredients and form a dough.
Pat with fish oil, cover and allow to rise for ± an hour.
- Filling:
- 100 g soft butter
- 180 ml sugar
- 30 ml fine cinnamon
- 170 ml chopped cranberries, optional

Make a paste with the butter, sugar and cinnamon.
Place optional ingredients in a bowel.
Divide dough into 2 pieces.
On oiled surface roll each piece into an oblong with a width of ± 15 cm.
Spread with paste and optional ingredients.
Cut into 4 cm slices and place on side on greased proof paper.
Bake for ± 15 mins to rise.
Brush with egg and bake extra 15 – 20 mins on 180ºC.
Lastly allow to cool and drizzle with icing sugar.
