CHOCOLATE CAKE

“This cake is delicious. Mine didn’t even make it to the fridge.”

  • Cake:
  • 3 eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • ½ cup cooking oil
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup cake flour, sifted
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • Ganache:
  • 150 g chocolate
  • ½ cup cream

Beat eggs, sugar and cinnamon until smooth and fluffy. Add water and oil and mix in.
Add cake flour, baking powder and cocoa and mix well.
Bake in two greased 20 cm cake tins for 20 minutes. Cool.
Melt chocolate in double cooker and stir in cream once it is removed from heat.
Decorate cake with ganache.
