CHEESE SCONES
“Baked today for our Sunday treat.”
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup grated cheese, own choice of type of cheese
- 10 ml (2 teaspoons) baking powder
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) salt
- a pinch of cayenne pepper
Mix all ingredients together. You can use patty pans.
Note:
I used muffin pans because I doubled the recipe.
Can also be done as drop scones.
Bake at 180 °C for 10 – 15 minutes.
I did a double batch and baked it a bit longer.
