BACON WRAPPED PEPPADEW POPPERS
Decided to make my own as the store bought ones is way too expensive.
- 5 piquante peppadews per person (I used bottled)
- ham flavoured cream cheese for stuffing peppadews
- rindless streaky bacon strips
- basting sauce (I used Spur steak sauce)
- bamboo skewers soaked in water
Drain peppadews and stuff with cream cheese.
Wrap each peppadew with bacon and put on skewers.
Braai on medium coals for 15 – 20 minutes.
Baste every time you turn the poppers.
