BACON, BUTTERMILK AND CHIVE MASH
This little quick, but very flavourful and sensational recipe is from a cookery class I attended way back.
- 250 g bacon, crispy fried and diced
- 8 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 250 ml buttermilk
- 4 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
- nutmeg to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
Make mash as per your preferred method.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix.
OK! I will admit, I always add a lot of butter (to my preferred taste) as well.
