90 SECOND KETO BREAD FOR TOAST

“Toast bread in a pan, like French toast.”
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 3 tablespoons almond flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg and melted butter until well combined. Add the almond flour, baking powder, and salt, and mix until a smooth batter forms.
- Pour the batter into a greased microwave-safe mug or bowl.
- Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Allow to cool for a minute before removing from the mug.
- Slice and enjoy as bread or toast.
- Tips and variations:
- For a savoury version, add herbs like rosemary or garlic powder to the batter.
- For a sweeter option, mix in a teaspoon of cinnamon or a low-carb sweetener.
