90 SECOND KETO BREAD FOR TOAST

“Toast bread in a pan, like French toast.”

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons almond flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • In a bowl, whisk together the egg and melted butter until well combined. Add the almond flour, baking powder, and salt, and mix until a smooth batter forms.
  • Pour the batter into a greased microwave-safe mug or bowl.
  • Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Allow to cool for a minute before removing from the mug.
  • Slice and enjoy as bread or toast.
  • Tips and variations:
  • For a savoury version, add herbs like rosemary or garlic powder to the batter.
  • For a sweeter option, mix in a teaspoon of cinnamon or a low-carb sweetener.
