KETO CHEEZ-ITZ

  • 1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • pinch of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder smoked paprika, optional
  • Start by preheating your oven to 175°C and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cheddar cheese with the almond flour and salt.
  • If you want a little extra flavor, you can add the garlic powder or smoked paprika.
  • Mix everything together until it forms a dough.
  • Roll the dough out thinly between two sheets of parchment paper, about 3 mm thick.
  • Cut the dough into small squares using a knife or pizza cutter.
  • Use a toothpick to poke a little hole in the center of each square to give it that classic Cheez-It look.
  • Transfer the squares to your baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until they’re golden and crispy.
  • Let them cool completely to crisp up even more and enjoy your homemade keto Cheez-Itz.
