STUFFED FRIED BREAD

STUFFED FRIED BREAD

My mum never threw away left overs if they were still good. One of her famous dishes I grew up eating is the stuffed fried bread. If you have leftover pieces of meat, chicken fillet or even just potatoes these are easily made as a stuffing for the bread.
  • 2 cups cake flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons of cooking oil
  • just enough water to make a dough

To the cake flour, add salt and cooking oil and combine well.
Add enough water to make a soft rollable dough (approximately ½ to 1 cup).
Cover and leave to rest for 20 minutes.
Divide in 8 portions.
Roll each slightly and stuff with filling of your choice.
Bring the ends together and close well.
Fry in shallow oil and serve with chilli sauce.

    • Hallo Johanna, ja ek het bevestig op die groep ook die resep is perfek. Probeer gerus, onthou om dit maar lekker te knie om die gluten te aktiveer.
      Mooi dag verder
