WENK VIR GEBRUIK VAN WORTELBLARE

Ek het op ‘n dehydration groep geleer dat meeste groente se blare baie minerale en vitamines bevat en verseker nie weggegooi moet word nie.

Ek het ‘n bos wortels wat te dig gesaai is, so daar is baie stingels en blare wat beskikbaar is. Ek was nie so oortuig dat dit soos pietersielie gaan proe nie, maar was aangenaam verras. Probeer dit!

“Carrot tops are high in vitamin C, vitamin K, and potassium. Use them as you would parsley, or in place of parsley in recipes. Strip the leaves from the tough stems, add them to stock or soup, put them in salads, or make chimichurri or make carrot top pesto.”
