SPINACH BALLS

Cook: 20 minutes

SPINACH BALLS

  • 500 – 600 g frozen spinach, drained well
  • ¾ cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups seasoned bread crumbs

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients until well mixed.
Roll into 5 cm, walnut-sized balls.
Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 180ºC for 20 minutes.

Nota:
Erna Hattingh – The recipe is a hit. The balls can be made in advance and frozen. In my opinion, the salt can be increased in the recipe.
