SPICY CHICKEN LIVERS AND SPINACH
Lockdown day #380 Spicy chicken liver and spinach with garlic loaf boosting the iron levels.
- 250 g fresh chicken livers (WW)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- 100 ml Nando’s peri peri sauce
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 100 g baby spinach, torn
- 50 ml fresh cream
Fry the onion and garlic in a little oil for minute. Add the chicken livers and stir fry a few minutes over medium heat while turning. Add the tomatoes, spinach and peri peri sauce and simmer for 15 minutes. Take off the heat, add the cream, stir through and serve with warm, crusty garlic loaf.
