SPICY CHICKEN AND NOODLES
- 500 g chicken fillets, cubed
- 2 packets 2 minute noodles
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 1 yellow onion medium, finely chopped
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 pack mushrooms, chopped in slices
- 20 small red chillies, finely chopped
- 5 gloves of fresh garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of chilli flakes
- 2 tablespoons of smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons mixed herbs
- 1 tablespoon crushed ginger
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 5 tablespoons Nando’s extra hot sauce
- 70 g tomato paste
- 30 g Knorr Tasty chicken stew powder
- 500 ml boiling water
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 15 ml olive oil
- salt to taste
Fry the onions on hot for 5 minutes.
Add the tomato paste, crushed ginger and all the spices, Worcestershire sauce and Nando’s extra hot sauce and garlic.
Fry for 3 minutes.
Add chicken fillets and fry for 5 minutes.
Add red and green peppers. Fry for 3 minutes.
Add 500 ml water mixed with the Knorr tasty chicken stew powder.
Bring to a boil for 3 minutes.
Add mushrooms and 2 packets of noodles.
Cook on high heat for 5 minutes.
Let it rest for 10 minutes.
