PILCHARDS FISHCAKES

  • 1 can pilchards in tomato sauce, mashed
  • 2 slices of white bread, grinded to crumbs
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • ½ cup cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • chillies, to taste, optional and cut up

Mix all together, drop and fry spoonfuls in medium heated oil until cooked.
