PECAN NUT SHORTBREAD BISCUITS
- 250 g butter (do not substitute with margarine)
- 4 tablespoons icing sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecan nuts
- 3 cups cake flour, sifted
- ½ cup maizena (corn flour)
Cream the butter and icing sugar.
Add the rest of the ingredients and form a soft dough.
Roll the dough into small balls and flatten with the back of a fork.
Bake the biscuits in a 180 ºC oven for 10 – 12 minutes.
Remove the biscuits from the oven, cool and sprinkle some icing sugar on top.
