OVEN FRIED MARINATED PRAWNS
“When you do not have time or energy to stand and pan-fry prawns, this is a perfect and easy way to do them in the oven… and what is better… a wonderful way to do a large batch at once!”
- 500 g prawns
- 5 ml brown sugar
- 5 ml curry powder
- 5 ml chopped garlic chives
- 5 ml chopped parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 30 ml olive oil
- salt and black pepper
- 150 g butter, cubed
Mix all ingredients for the marinade. Marinate prawns for 30 minutes in fridge.
Preheat oven to 180 °C. Place prawns, single layer, in an oven tray; cut the butter in cubes and place on top of the prawns, fry for seven minutes, turn, and then fry 7 – 8 minutes longer in oven.
