MINCE MEATBALLS WITH FRESH HERBS

Try this simple yet delicious recipe.

  • 1 kg mince
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chillies, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bunch each of coriander, parsley and mint – it must be fresh
  • breadcrumbs – about a quarter cup – or 2 slices of the crust, but grated
  • 2 heaped tablespoons of mushroom or white onion soup powder
  • 2 eggs
  • oil for frying with fresh herbs

Chop your fresh herbs as fine as possible.
Mix everything until well combined. Make balls to your desired size.
Fry in shallow cooking oil 5 minutes on each side on a medium heat.
