JILL-NITA’S DECORATED BREAD

  • 500 g cake flour plus extra
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup lukewarm milk
  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • 50 g butter, melted
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • TIP:
  • I always add some olive oil to my mix
  • Decoration of bread:
  • I use any vegetables and fresh herbs I have in my fridge

Put flour, yeast and salt in bowl, add milk and melted butter.
Mix well, add the egg and water and mix.
Add more flour if needed, you need to have a nice soft dough. Mix very well.
Cover and leave for and hour. If you use a baking bread tin you can let dough rise in it.
Add the decorations, but work gently.
Bake at 200°C for 30 minutes.
When cooked drizzle with olive oil.
