HOT CHOCOLATE BOMBS
Recipe and photo: Lee Ann Ferrue
For this specific recipe, I can not give exact quantities because it all depends how big and how many bombs you want to make. Below is a very short list of ingredients and instructions.
- chocolate (dark or milk)
- hot chocolate powder
- mini marshmallows
- decorations (sprinkles, silver or gold balls, edible glitter etc.)
- Melt the chocolate.
- Line your mould with the melted chocolate.
- Brush the mould which takes a out 2 to 3 rounds of brushing to get a good thickness.
- I find this way less messy than pouring the chocolate into mould then emptying out the excess.
- Place mould into fridge to speed up the hardening process.
- Once chocolate is hard add 1 tablespoon of hot chocolate powder and then top up with mini marshmallows.
- Cover completely with melted chocolate to close the bomb.
- Again place in fridge to speed up the hardening process.
- Your bomb is now complete and can be removed from mould and decorated as your desires.
- Note:
- To make your drink, place your bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over, filling the mug, stir until chocolate melts and hot chocolate powder dissolves
