FISH CAKES MADE WITH PILCHARDS

Saw another member talking about fish cakes from tinned pilchards so tried another recipe.

  • 2 cans tinned pilchards in tomato sauce
  • ½ cup cake flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 medium sized potatoes
  • 1  bag fresh chives chopped
  • 3 big stalks of spring onions
  • 2 large eggs

Cooked the potatoes untill soft and mash. Cut the spring onions into small pieces.
Mix everything together, place a big spoon ful in a pan sprayed with spray and cook and pan fry both sides.

Absolutely delicious. Served with salad of your choice.
