FILLING FOR MINI MILK TARTS
- 1 litre longlife milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 80 ml cornstarch
- 80 ml cake flour
- pinch of salt
- 4 extra large eggs
- 5 ml vanilla essence
Mix all dry ingredients and wisk together.
Mix vanilla and eggs together and add to the dry ingredients.
Wisk together.
Bring milk to boil and add some hot milk to egg and flour mixture while wiskingall the time.
Remember to put stove lower while hot milk gets added to egg and flour mixture.
Add the of flour mixture to the boiling milk on the stove and wisk until mixture thickens.
Pour the cooked mixture into a bowl and cover with gling wrap.
Make sure the cling wrap touches the milk tart surface.
Wait until cooled down and then refrigerate.
When ready to to use as filling, mix well and pipe into casings.
Use store bought casings or make your own.
