FARMHOUSE ROLLS
Perfect for roasts and braais.
- 4 cups of cake flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 ¼ teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of boiing water
- ½ cup of melted butter or ½ cup of cooking oil
Mix dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
In another bowl combine wet ingredients.
Mix the dry and wet ingredients together.
Form into a dough and leave to rise for 2 hours.
Break off small pieces and form into rolls/ buns.
Bake at 200 ºC for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Spread butter on top as soon as it’s baked.
So delicious and super soft.
