ELIZE’S TARTAR SAUCE
Homemade Tartar Sauce is way better than any store-bought version. This one has just the right taste and texture. It’s perfect for fish cakes, or any seafood dish.
- 180 ml good quality mayonnaise
- 125 ml sour cream
- 3 gherkins, chopped
- half red onion, chopped
- 30 ml lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 hardboiled egg, chopped
- 15 ml capers, chopped
- 2 olives, chopped
- sugar, if necessary
Mix all the ingredients together, taste and adjust if necessary.
Serve with fish or seafood.
