DUNKED CHICKEN WINGS
- 6 chicken wings, cut into bite size portions
- boiling water, to cover chicken wings
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon wholegrain mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons soya sauce
- sesame seeds and chives, for garnish, optional
Boil chicken wings in hot water for 4 minutes (must be covered in water).
Drain and set aside to dry.
Clean wok, add butter.
Add chicken wings to melted butter and fry until brown.
Mix the rest of the ingredients in a jug.
Pour over the browned wings.
Cook for 15 – 20 minutes until sticky.
Keep on stirring.
Serve immediately while hot.
