DENZY’S BERRY MALVA PUDDING

  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1 cup fresh cream milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon brown vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons berry jam
  • Syrup:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • ½ cup of butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Preheat oven to 180°C. Mix milk and bicarbonate of soda together.
In a different bowl mix sugar, salt, flour, egg, vinegar and jam together, add the milk mixer to flour mixer and mix together, pour pudding mix into a grease baking dish and bake in oven for about 30 – 40 mins.

For syrup:
Mix everything together in a small pot and let it boil for 10 mins.
When pudding is done poke holes into pudding and pour syrup sauce over pudding.
Cut out a piece and decorate with mix berries and enjoy with custard.
