CURRY MINCE FRIKADELLE
Ek het gister hierdie baie ligte kerrie frikkadelle gemaak en ons het dit baie geniet. Die 1 kg maalvleis maak 18 – 20 heerlike sappige frikadelle.
- 1 kg of beef mince
- 1 onion, grated
- salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon of chicken braai masala
- 2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
- 1 teaspoons of black pepper
- 2 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley
- ½ cup of finely chopped green and red pepper
- 4 slices of bread, soaked in a little milk and then squeeze the milk out of the bread
- 1 tablespoon of finely chopped garlic
- ½ teaspoon of chili powder, optional
- 1 egg
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl with your hands . Make into balls and fry in shallow oil till brown on both sides .
If you want to make a sauce, mix 25 ml Bisto with 375 ml water, ½ cup of chutney and 1 teaspoon curry powder, pour over the browned frikadelle, turn the stove down and let the sauce thickens.
