CRUSTLESS MILK TART
- 30 ml butter
- 4 eggs, separated
- 250 ml castor sugar
- 250 ml cake flour
- 5 ml baking powder
- 1 ml salt
- 1 litre milk
- 5 ml vanilla essence
- ground cinnamon
Melt the butter. Add egg yolks and castor sugar and beat well.
Sif the dry ingredients together and add to the yolk mixture.
Beat in the milk and essence.
Fold in the beaten egg whites and then pour the mixture into a greased oven proof dish.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake in 160 ºC. 55 to 60 minutes.
