CRUNCHIES

- 250 g soft butter
- 1 cup castor sugar
- ½ cup of brown sugar
- 1½ cups dessicated coconut
- 1½ cups of jungle oats
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 cups cake flour
- 2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
- 4 tablespoons of boiling water
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- Mix everything besides the bicarbonate of soda, water and golden syrup.
- Mix the bicarbonate, water and golden syrup and put in the microwave for 30 seconds.
- Make a dough. Add more boiling water if necessary to get a soft biscuit dough. Roll small balls and place on a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake at 160ºC for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Switch off oven and leave in the oven to get crisp.
