CREAMY TUNA PASTA

  • 2 onions
  • 400 g pasta
  • 350 ml milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 chillies
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 2 tins tuna
  • lemon juice from 2 lemons

Brown the onion with olive oil, add the chillies and garlic. Add the water, milk, stock cube and the pasta (as an indication the pasta wasn’t completely submerged but mostly covered).
Allow to boil and then simmer until slightly undercooked, as it will be another 3 minutes before you remove from the heat.
Add the tins of tuna and the frozen peas, plus lemon juice.
Leave another few minutes to warm the tuna and peas.
Let it stand with the lid on for 5 minutes to thicken.
