COOKED BUTTER LETTUCE
You don’t need to eat lettuce raw! Any lettuce can be used but I prefer butter lettuce.
- ± 250 g butter lettuce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ± 60 g of onion or one spring onion
- ½ teaspoon chicken stock powder
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Warm up olive oil and cook the garlic and onion a few seconds.
Add lettuce and sprinkle over the chicken stock.
Stir through and put in soy sauce and sesame oil. Leaves should be wilted down by now.
Cook until well incorporated and enjoy.
I also add a little roasted sesame seeds.
