Cook: 45 minutes | Servings: more or less 30 round eclairs

CHOCOLATE ECLAIRS

  • Dough:
  • 250 ml (1 cup) water
  • 125 ml (½ cup) oil
  • 250 ml (1 cup) cake flour
  • 3 eggs
  • Extra:
  • whipped cream
  • caramel, optional
  • melted chocolate

Allow water and oil to boil in saucepan.
Remove saucepan from heat, add flour and mix.
Carry on mixing over very low heat until paste forms a ball and sides of saucepan is clean. Place ball into a mixing bowl allow to cool.
Once cooled, beat in eggs one at a time (blending well after each addition).
Pipe or spoon mixture into non-stick or greased baking tray and bake in preheated oven at 180 °C for 45 minutes.
Fill with whipped cream and caramel (I just filled it with cream) and dipped in chocolate.

Nota:
Room het ek geskat, ek het so halwe koppie room gevat en geklits. Sjokolade – 10 blokkies maar daar het oorgebly, jammer die resep sê nie hoeveel nie, ek het net aangemaak.
